Dear Beloved Customer,
We understand you are dissapointed in the way we always postpone games, but this is just a natural process in how we make games. We find good ideas, implement them into a game, and then refine them. Once we're actually done making the game and making several copies of it, we like to make our fanboys hate us by extending our own deadlines, and thus, postponing their release dates.
That's just how we roll.
Sincerely,
Office of Valve Customer Service
Welcome to how Valve operates.
THE CREED: Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
"...That's rather cynical."
"It would be if it were doctrine, but it is merely an observation of the nature of reality.
To say that Nothing is True is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shephards of our own civilization.
To say that Everything is Permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with the consequences, whether glorious...or tragic."
