Looking for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed cards.
I currently have Shinobi, B.D Joe, Shadow and Aiai. EDIT: I now have Tails thanks to CY. EDIT2: I now also have Sonic and Eggman, thanks to Usu.
I'm willing to sell TF2 metals for them.

what's the big deal with cards? they're a terrible social rope-in to playing games - I largely share
Christine Love's view on them

Cards are a way of introducing content about the game, outside the game and for users to express their love of the franchise or game if they so wish. I'm sure there would be a lot of people that would enjoy having cards for Analogue for the smilies and profile background.
And yes, it is gamifying games and a way for Valve and the developer to gain more moneys.

They work the same way like TF2 hats. Plus you can actually get money if you sell them on the market, unlike hats that the only way you get sell them is either requiring them to be vintage/strange/unusual/genuine either requiring you to trade a key for them. Personally I liked the idea.

Getting coupons is always nice, too, although I'm not sure how long the ones that you get through the trading cards last.

this is all working on the assumption that the Steam userbase is in fact all devoted to the game and will play it for the intended purpose instead of just trying to grab money
what Valve does with it does not constitute what the userbase does with it

Why the hell are you complaining about trading cards?
They are free money, be grateful that Valve is such a great company.

I don't know how the rest of humanity works, but I would never be stupid enough to buy a game based on whether or not I get trading cards for it.
And what Raz said. I must have made at least $10 off those things already. And I keep getting booster packs that I sell for over a dollar each.
