Okay, let's see if I remember this correctly...
Something like: You must be playing a level on a map with wandering Hammer Bros. Then, you must have a number of coins where the tens and ones digits are the same (33, 55, etc.) and then you must end the stage with a point score ending with 00... (At least, it's something like that, I think...) The coin ship will then replace the wandering Hammer Bros.

actually you must do this collect a number of coins that is a multiple of 11. make the tens digit in your score(the second number from the right) match the multiple of 11 stop the timer at the end of the stage on a even number. for example

11 coins

9,310, score

104, timer

this only works on worlds 1.3.5.and 6.
