There might be DLC characters still but Sony confirmed Crash and Spyro would not be appearing.
Just remember this, when you see her on the street.

Well, stepping out of my nostalgic fandom for a minute, Crash has only two move, jumping, and spinning. Anything else would be equipment that he has used across the various games. Spryo has more moves though most of them use his original abilities as a template. So he can Jump, Dash, Spit fire, and Head Pound. I'm sure Sony could get them to work but it'll take a little effort given their simplicity.

Activision and some other ♥♥♥ money-grubbing companies currently hold the rights to these characters, so there's really nothing Sony could do. You're directing your hate at the wrong people.
