Well, after reading the Platform Differences topic, I decided it would be best to make an IGN topic so we can all hate it while staying on topic. HOORAY

But yeah, IGN is ♥♥♥♥ retarded. I think they once said something about Sonic 06 being good or something.

IGN didn't say it was a good game, but they gave it a slightly higher score than Sonic Unleashed, which pissed off a lot of fans (like me).

While I do agree with some of their points they make in their reviews (or agree with an entire review occasionally), a lot of their explanations are either highly opinionated or invalid. I've lost interest in IGN for years, and I've been losing more since.

Yeah, totally. They kinda give a slightly on the bad side on the reviews however, also on the good side on the balance, also kinda good on the other stuff on the site, like secrets or walkthroughs, etc. That, that's on the positive side as well. So yeah, the reviews can also be slightly wrong and/or different.

I want to ask, "What about other sites? Are they like this site?" Seriously, nothing cannot be the same. One's better than the other. Wait? Am I going off topic here?

They do a somewhat decent job of rating indie games that don't have the money to pay IGN.

Heh. You nintendo fanboys would despise Game Informer.

Karyete: Seriously, what is your problem? And not only that, you fail to even acknowledge you might be in some wrong here.
Karyete: Oooh it's you? Hello. Feel free to drop this right now. You're going to make yourself look like an idiot.
Karyete: We don't want to hear your opinion at this stage.

THE CREED: Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
"...That's rather cynical."

"It would be if it were doctrine, but it is merely an observation of the nature of reality.
To say that Nothing is True is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shephards of our own civilization.
To say that Everything is Permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with the consequences, whether glorious...or tragic."

The only thing I have against GI is that most of their team seems to be more of the hardcore gamers, and since almost all games on the Wii are kid-friendly, they give them poor ratings... even though a majority of the 3rd-party titles on the Wii are ♥♥♥♥. Insert Ninja Breadman here. I have also noticed that at least 2 or 3 times in the 3 years I was subscribed to GI they reviewed a very popular/good game poorly, and it seemed to be reviewed by the more hardcore staff members. I could be wrong about that, though. I still do like GI a lot more than IGN, though.

Back to the terms of IGN, the last review I saw that had the most hate recently (as in about-3-to-4-months-ago recent) on YT was their Mario Party 9 review, which was about 50-50 on likes and dislikes.
