I have some beef with case 3 and 4 of Apollo Justice and I need to get it off my chest. I haven't finished case 4 yet so maybe its problems will be answered eventually, but still. It seems like case 3s are either meh/just plain dumb like Turnabout Samurai, or really good a la Turnabout Academy. Serenade falls under the former.

Case 3, Turnabout Serenade. Am I the only one who even noticed the contradiction in the crime scene diagram? The bullet holes in the left wall prove he was shot from the right side of the room, yet his body was found behind the divider. Bullets can't go through walls, so how the heck did the top bullet get there? I'm pretty sure the body couldn't have been moved because of the blood found on the floor. Another thing, they were making such a big deal about how powerful the gun was, yet they just blow off the fact that Machi couldn't have fired the gun based off that. If the gun is as powerful as they say and Machi did fire it, he would have some kind of obvious injury from it.

Case 4, Turnabout Succession. Magnifi asked Zak to end his life (Valant too, but that's beside the point), so why the hell are they trying him? That's like prosecuting an assassin that killed someone on request. I understand this is Ace Attorney and wacky ♥♥♥♥ happens, but really? I do have to admit the part with the MASON System is pretty neato though, albeit a bit weird.

Don't worry, case 3 in Apollo Justice is widely considered one of the worst Ace Attorney cases (and it shows, the very fact Machi is being tried even though he has no physical stature to handle a revolver is quite something).

It's still a good game, easily has one of the best first (and for me personally, second) cases.

Y'know, I'm still waiting for the day there's a case titled "Turnabout Fair Play". It must happen eventually.

A while ago I made a kind of crossover with Persona, matching the arcanas to Ace Attorney characters. If you're familiar with the Persona series, I'd like some feedback.

Hierophant - Godot (older than Phoenix, also obsessed with the past)
Lovers - Maya Fey (how can this be anyone other than Maya?)
Chariot - Athena Cykes (driven and aggressive at times)
Justice - Judge (literally cannot be anyone else)
Fortune - Phoenix Wright (very lucky)
Strength - ♥♥♥♥ Gumshoe (loyalty to his friends and hard-working)
Hermit - Will Powers (humble nature, wears a mask on TV)
Hanged Man - Simon Blackquill (willing to sacrifice himself to save Athena)
Death - Manfred von Karma (obvious choice really)
Temperance - Klavier Gavin (perfectionist, tries to balance his band and prosecuting)
Devil - Franziska von Karma (devilish, cold, arrogant)
Tower - Winston Payne (prideful yet is always defeated)
Star - Trucy Wright (hopefulness and joy)
Moon - Adrian Andrews (emotionally scarred by mentor's death)
Sun - Maggey Byrde (has terrible luck but always optimistic)

I did originally have Phoenix as Fool, but I couldn't think of anyone better for Fortune.

Trucy's model certainly has some nice improvements over DD. Bears a bit more resemblance to her AJ sprite, while still looking good as a 3D model.

The palette is a bit too bright imo.
