TF2 Guide

Postby SuYo1141 » September 28th, 2012, 2:08 pm

I've started taking moderate consideration into making a TF2 guide series depicting classes, maps, and overall functions of the game. And I need opinions.
First of all, is this actually a good idea? I want to know if this idea is actually good before I upload the ♥♥♥♥ to YouTube.
Second, I need someone to review the sets I've devised, mostly because these sets are most likely absolute ♥♥♥♥ in the eyes of a professional TF2 player (A.K.A. Suyo.)
So, any reviews/opinions of preview files I'll be uploading (if this idea gets passed) would be GREATLY appreciated.
I'm SuYo the faker, I rant in Forum 23 so you don't have to.

On the flip side, you're brilliant compared to someone like me. :p Do it, I could use it.

On an unrelated note, anyone up for a game sometime this weekend?

Sure. I'm almost always up for a game of TF2, I'm just not very good at the game.

By the way, I fully support this. I can help if you need help, 1141.

I'd be up to review the guides - not all of the sets are ♥♥♥♥, for example I liked that Crit-a-Cola set you once used against me in 1v1 - the disadvantage was that it's useless in 1v1 since you have to drink the Cola first, and by then I will most likely find you and take you out in 2 meatshots. If you can get behind a group of people and use it, you might be able to take out a few of them before running away - the Scattergun does 140 damage when point-blank, allowing you take out Scout, Engineer, Snipers and Spies in one shot instead of two (105 damage w/o minicrits). if you use the FaN instead you have only 2 shots in your clip but a meatshot does a little more than 150 damage, allowing you to take down a Medic in just one shot, which is a big advantage as the Medic can't pop his Uber in case he has one.

...I haven't played with weapons other than my current loadouts for a long time... maybe I should do a "weapon loadout testing week" when I have a bit of free time again. Could be interesting.

I have a few decent Scout loadouts if you want to use them.

I've been playing lots of Half Life recently but if I see you on TF2 I shall definitely join.

I'll help review the sets - maybe I should have a look at mine or something, right now I have a "jack-of-all-trades" loadout, Milkman set, mobility loadout and ♥♥♥♥ loadout for my Scoot.
