I'm comparing my Library to yours for reccomendations and all I have to say is, take your money to gog.com. They have plenty of awesome classic games, and slowly pouring in are newer indie games. Most of which are within your price range. It's basically Steam for classic games. Minus the trolling and a large social network. (heck you get about 5 or so games free for signing up, and they don't suck either.) Your probably going to want to get Myst, Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy), or something like Worms United. But go ahead and look for whatever genre you want. They have a good selection PC versions of popular console games too like Tomb Raider.
Also the Basement Collection is a collection of some of Edmund McMillen's older flash games. The SMB beta, Time Fcuk, Spewer, and a few others. All of these games are free to play if you can find them (probably on newgrounds) but TBC has the full OST for each game that you can copy/paste wherever, as well as concept art, FAQ sessions, etc. plus you have all of them in one spot so it's pretty cool if you like Edmund McMillen.
