I'm going to assume you're being ironic and not press this case further. I do hope you're being sarcastic.

Just throwing out my opinion, but Final Fantasy XIII was the first Final Fantasy I played, and to be honest, I hated it. I don't see anything good about XIII-2 that makes it worth buying.

For that reason only, I would suggest Fire Emblem. Not because I'm a Nintendo fan, but because I heard a lot of good things about it. My opinion probably doesn't mean that much, but hey, hope it helps.

Because I really need help with these decisions. I actually liked FF 13 but I didn't know that this site was full of nintendo fans.

Well, given that most of our users probably came from SM63, I think it would be safe to say that the majority or at least slightly biased towards Nintendo.
Popular opinion states that the Final Fantasy series has been spiraling downwards for quite awhile, however, if you enjoyed FFXIII, I'm sure it's sequel will be fine for you as well. I'm assuming that you've played a fair share of Fire Emblem games as well, so I'm just going to tell you to pick whichever one has gameplay that you have a better time with. I myself, would probably get Fire Emblem first, because I like grid-based strategy games a tad more than semi-realtime RPGs.

HOLD UP. (A few months late)

DON'T BUY FFXIII-2 (Hey, I actually played 13 and legitimately liked it)

DON'T BUY THE NEW FIRE EMBLEM (Hey, I actually played some of the old FEs and liked them)

BUY THE WALKING DEAD.
(or Spec Ops: The Line.)

Or Journey.

Or Far Cry 3.

Or XCOM- Enemy Unknown (This one is a serious recommendation, The other ones are serious too, but not as much as this one. It's turn based grid tactics fighter too.)

Or Dishonored.

THE CREED: Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
"...That's rather cynical."

"It would be if it were doctrine, but it is merely an observation of the nature of reality.
To say that Nothing is True is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shephards of our own civilization.
To say that Everything is Permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with the consequences, whether glorious...or tragic."
