I'm going to pitch this game to you guys the same way I pitched it to my friends.
Thomas Was Alone is a game about colored blocks jumping and platforming. For ten dollars on Steam and PS3.
Go buy it. It's the most beautiful game I've ever played in a long time.
My friends were like "that's gay." and "a ripoff of the impossible game?" and so on and so forth but I care not.
(fun fact:I saw a BIT.TRIP game on PSN For the same price, thought of which to buy, and promptly bought Thomas Was Alone )
THE CREED: Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
"...That's rather cynical."
"It would be if it were doctrine, but it is merely an observation of the nature of reality.
To say that Nothing is True is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shephards of our own civilization.
To say that Everything is Permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with the consequences, whether glorious...or tragic."
-Ezio Auditore da Firenze explaining the Creed, 1514, Masayaf.
