So, a petition has been started pleading for Microsoft to revert back to its original policies for Xbox One. You can read about it

The petition states that "consumers were uninformed" about the benefits of the X1's policies, and that it would have been "the future of entertainment."
Here's my response: Consumer input is extremely vital to every business strategy,
even if the consumers are wrong. The petition fails to consider that Xbox One sales would have probably suffered drastically had Microsoft not reversed its policies.
Microsoft made the right choice. I'm sure these petitioners have wonderful intentions for where Xbox
should be heading, but there are just too many factors for Microsoft to pull another 180. But we'll see.
