So yeah.
I know it isn't interesting considering you can get it on Valve's site, but considering I went to a local store called Danbury Comic in Northampton, Massachusetts, I was very shocked. If you're wondering what it is, it's basically like a Hot Topic in a sense, but their selection is quite broad, going from manga to 1D to zombies to... yeah. There were also companion cubes from Portal, but those didn't interest me since I've never affiliated with Portal. Also, pardon the quality of the photo. I was in a rush and I only had a phone with me.

So have you had any stories about coming across TF2/Valve gear in your stores? If not, have you gotten to meet one of your Steam friends who plays a game by Valve or talked to someone in real life about those games?

I live in Nashua, New Hampshire, but I'm moving back to hudson soon. I can easily drive to danbury comics and also pick up one these. What other tf2 items did they have? I do not want an archimedes on my medic, it ruins the aperature science look.

Really, Raz? I'm heading up in the Keene area on Thursday for Brattleboro's parade for around 9:30 in the morning(I march in the legion band now as a trombonist), so if you're in the area, we could meet up. Heh.

Anyways, I only saw Archimedes at the store, and I think that was the last one that they had. I didn't buy it, so it may be there for all I know.

((And for you TF2ers, I'm attempting to play TF2 on my older laptop if it runs.))

(Good luck.)

I actually got an Archimedes plush for my birthday from a friend that got it from Amazon.com. When I registered it in my game I found out that it was vintage. It was the best birthday present I got... mainly because it was the only one I got other than Steam Wallets and GameStop gift cards.

EDIT: Whoops, meant to say Genuine. You can't get this vintage. :P

ALL HAIL GENUINE ARCHIMEDES

Also I never get any cool stuff cause Saint Augustine sucks and everything is big business and the closest I can get to merchandise I like is old Pokemon toys from Target and Mario and Zelda plushies at Blockbuster. And yes, there's still Blockbuster here. Let that sink in.

Very few stores are selling video games over here, I don't say there aren't but they are really few and there is nothing besides the actual games and some consoles. No T-shirts, no plushies, nothing :C (well there are a few pokemon/mario toys but nothing special).
