An Internet Question

We use Comcast Cable at the moment for our internet, but since prices went up my dad is planning on changing to DSL with another company. Does anyone know how big a difference internet speeds will be from Cable to DSL? Especially since I'd like to continue having a decent speed for when playing online games.

Comcast may/may not be increasing prices, but there's usually a huge difference. I get 54 mbps on my mother's internet using Comcast, and I never have issues loading webpages. Going to DSL, I'd think, would be similar, but I don't trust them exactly unless I see what they actually say on television is true. I can't trust those turtles, either. D:
