Another question... how can you know if your PS3 is backward compatiable? I know that certain PAL PS3 Consoles with 60GB space can play PS2 games, but they need to have emotion engine, that was only implemented for the initial release. So in case I do pick up a PS3, can anyone in Europe tell me what "things" they have written on their PS3 if it can run PS2 games?

(I say things because IDK what to call it... hmm... model?)

Assuming you're in Europe, the 60GB model "CECHCxx" contains PS2 backwards compatibility. You can go to the PS3's system information to check its type.
