So I was jumping around Osu search for beatmaps and somehow managed to get an unranked beatmap for the main theme of Mighty No. 9
It was posted a year ago, but it still made me look up when stuff was going to happen and there was literally an article posted four hours ago saying Beta will be a thing tomorrow

is this coincidence or is this the universe's way of saying I should have donated

THE CREED: Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
"...That's rather cynical."

"It would be if it were doctrine, but it is merely an observation of the nature of reality.
To say that Nothing is True is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shephards of our own civilization.
To say that Everything is Permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with the consequences, whether glorious...or tragic."
-Ezio Auditore da Firenze explaining the Creed, 1514, Masayaf.

yo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=908iesdX_To Please tell me it works, I get sound but no video.

In other news if you buy Azure Striker Gunvolt you get a free copy of Mighty Gunvolt which is a crossover between Gunvolt, Gun Gal, and Mighty No. 9. I've been told that Inti creates is going to give all backers a free copy of Mighty Gunvolt meaning I wasted $15 buying ASG. On the plus side if they follow through and I get a code for it I'll give it away here.

Also Riddler, http://www.mightyno9.com/en/SUPPORT $80 gets you Steam Early Access but not the beta.

Yeah it works, but the video is extremely choppy. Quality is good, but the skipping makes it unwatchable.

GIVEAWAY BUMP BECAUSE NO ONE POST HERE

Inticreates followed through and I just got my Mighty Gunvolt code. As I mentioned I already bought Azure Striker Gunvolt that comes with Mighty Gunvolt until November, I think, so I'm giving away the code. It's a North American code so you have to have a NA system for it to work. I'm not good with setting up giveaways so the first person who

  1. Has a 3DS
  2. Lives in USA
  3. Isn't backing MN. 9
  4. Hasn't already bought ASG
Gets the code. Just PM me for it.

EDIT: HOLY ♥♥♥♥ ZUNAR I JUST PUT THIS UP LIKE 5 SECONDS AGO, At least let me update the front page next time.

In today's update four designs for Call's weapon were released and will be chosen by backer only poll. As well as some of beck's tranformation designs. (I can already tell no. 7 is going to be my favorite.)

I know the poll is backer only but what are your thoughts?

Personally I'm intrigued by C. Not the design itself exactly but considering the bow was more or less antiqued by the gun it's interesting to see it in a Sci-Fi style game1. I'm just interested in what they might do with it. For straight up design though I'm leaning towards D.

1 This is coming from someone who doesn't play a lot of Sci-Fi games mind.

I agree with D, it looks really neat. A and B look more like toys than anything. C is somewhat interesting, but D still trumps in my book.

So yesterday's update cleared up a few things about the slacker backers and why voice actors cost $100K.
Basically they're allowing people to get in on backer rewards even after the original campaign, though at a higher price and not all rewards are available. And instead of just taking your money they're telling you where they're putting it. They also changed the rewards again to 1 language at $100K and both English and Japanese at $200K. That 1 language, which was recently hit, is to be determined by backers via poll.

I myself have already voted for Japanese voices. I haven't looked around the MN9 forums lately but I assume the sentiment is the same.
