That's pretty much how all Smash Bros. games are. Even if I do get a kick out of online play, I always prefer it with friends (though in person is pretty much always better since there's not going to be any lag until the gamepad's wireless goes to ♥♥♥♥).

Terraria 1.3, both Single Player and Multiplayer (with Nan)

Lately I've just been playing Tomodachi Life, Mario Kart 8, and Smash Bros. Wii U. I'm on Champion's Road on my Mario 3D World so I'm going to put that off for a while.

Mario and Luigi: Dream Team Bros. It's kinda slow, but not nearly as bad of a beginning as I thought. Also it's funny that I've only played the 2 supposedly 'worst' M&L games, but enjoyed them really much. Maybe people put them down too much.

Nah, it's a great series. It's just that DT was kind of a letdown compared to the others in the series (i.e. the others are god-tier). By the way, what's the other "worst" game? As far as I know, the remaining three are pretty ♥♥♥♥ fantastic (SS, PiT, BIS) :p
