NOTES:
  • This game is made Full HD, means EXACTLY 1920x1080. All HD x768 will see only a harmless text issue due to the canvas area of specific parts of the screen in specific screens depending on your width (Windows only)
  • This game is as large as 670 MB on Windows and 725 MB on Android approx.--download when possible if you're downloading
  • Windows 8.1 is required to play on Windows (please confirm this--I'm not sure of it)

I believe that most of you has one of:
  • Subway Surfers
  • Temple Run 2
  • Temple Run
And sadly, I was a Temple Run 2 fanatic till I found THIS. So what moved me from Subway Surfers to Temple Run 2 to Despicable Me: Minion Rush?
I'm not going through this story, but the most important points are, in Subway Surf and Minion Rush:
  • While Minion Rush is very similar to Subway Surfers, except Gameloft knows what it did well, for example while you can boost your score by multiplying your multiplier by 2 in Subway Surf (x2 Multiplier, iirc) in seconds but many times, you can SKYROCKET your score AT ONCE in Minion Rush (Moon) in seconds. A gazillion times cooler, huh? That's only one...
  • Boss Battles? Minion Rush only.
  • TRULY cross-platform (including Windows 8)? Well I'm asking Kiloo to port Subway Surf to Windows 8.1 but Minion Rush knew that first.
  • In Subway Surf, you surf one location per apk/ipa, but in Minion Rush, you have PLENTY of locations from Despicable Me and Despicable Me 2.
Not going further for that's enough and these are more significant than anything else e.g. Secret Areas, NO ONE chasing you...

However, Subway Surf nearly has no story (the story is in the "trailer") and it's just a plain "subway surfing". But then...in Minion Rush...

The story of Minion Rush: show
In a day in Gru's Lab, all the Minions were excited to know the Minion of the 4th Week (not counted, it says Minion of the Week). They were all waiting for their master, villain Gru to announce that Minion. One of them, named Dave, wasn't that excited (what he has/will-do depends on the platform and version). Gru's voice appeared, making them happy, telling them to "simmer down" after that, however, Dave wasn't listening. A Minion hit him to make him listen, then the Minion of the Week was announced after seconds: Paul, the Worker. But that's not all! Glances were shot at the "Minion of the Year" prize, so they all went, EACH ONE pro-claiming HE is the Minion of the Year. From here, fights started till Dave came up with the Minion Rush idea. He went on to go on an "adventure" to be the most despicable minion to be the Minion of the Year, and here starts Despicable Me: Minion Rush.

Special additions to the story are added depending on the special occasion like Christmas.

Gameloft's Words:

Gru’s loyal yellow gibberish-speaking Minions are ready for their toughest challenge in Despicable Me: Minion Rush. Play as a Minion and compete with others in hilarious, fast-paced challenges in order to impress your boss, (former?) super-villain Gru! Jump, fly, dodge obstacles, collect bananas, be mischievous, and defeat villains to earn the title of Minion of the Year!

Side notes: show
Windows 8.1-side Players:
This game has keyboard support, so you don't need a touchscreen to play this. And I believe it supports the Xbox 360 Controller too (wired or wireless)!

Android-side GALAXY Note-owning Players:
S Pen is supported, for those sweating hands, unlike any chase game.

So, if you've played it, what do you think of it? Not that I'm advertising, I had the sudden urge to post this with Clash of Clans having its own topic... Anyway, have fun~

I've had this for months, at first it seemed too expensive for my liking (those tokens cost a fortune) but now it seems they're making loads of challenges and offers, which spams my messages all the time.

Shame it's too laggy and freezes too much for me to play.

1. Did you turn off Local/Allow Toast Notifications (text depends on update and platform)?
2. Platform AND device?
3. It does freeze on my Note, and sometimes FC (force close)...RARELY FC's on my laptop...

Also, another side note: I have a high score of 1,127,812 where I ran 13,747m and collected 4,294 Bananas only, on my laptop.
Does anyone have higher than that?

It's on a 'Cyclone Voyager' tablet, so it's crappier than crap. Cheap school-tablet that nobody wanted and nobody needed and barely works.

Your PC's operating system?
If Windows 8.1, try downloading it from the Windows Store. Should NEVER lag/freeze in the case of a gaming GPU like the Radeon. HD Graphics here and femto-sized FPS drops that are harmless. Careful if you're doing it, you might need to repeat everything that you did because Super Silly Fun Land ISN'T available for Windows 8.1 so Facebook can't copy all the upgrades/costumes that you bought (but not purchased) and different clouds for different platforms.
