Town of Salem

This is a pretty cool game. It's a browser based, multiplayer game in which you are a member of a town called Salem (oh, it's also text/communication based, not an action-stealth-platformer-shooter-bonanza crossover genre). You get a role assigned and along with 11 more people you enter the town. Each role is unique and has different ways of winning. E.g. Someone with a "Sheriff" role must bring down all criminals, The "Godfather" of the mafia must bring down everyone for his mafia, where as a "Jester" has to survive or get lynched. You only know your role, and no-one else's. The game breaks into two sections, Day and Night. Day section is where people contact each other, discuss what they know and try to lynch people based on clues and leads they have. At Night, you can perform a special role which may give you a lead on someone, or will allow you to kill a person. E.g. "Serial Killer" may kill 1 person each night, "Medium" may contact the dead and get clues that way. Oh, I didn't speak about death. Once you're dead, you cannot contact people who are alive alone. You must contact the "medium" at night. However, you also leave your "last will" behind once you die. In there you can store all your notes which may help the other people in discovering other people's roles.

The game's pretty fun and simple. My explanation may not be the best in the world, so you may be better off just playing the game. There are many terms and stuff that may not be immediately obvious, but once you play a few games you'll learn pretty quick how to play. I'd recommend it, it's also online which means Runouw rounds maybe? Also, you have to create an account. Forgot to mention that.

@EDIT: Oh, my name is Konradix on there if you want to add me or something.

Been playing this game for a few months now. I haven't ventured out of Classic yet though.

So here are the game modes:
Classic - You always start with same roles, 3 mafia roles, 1 serial killer, 1 jester, 1 executioner and 2 random town roles. Rest are predetermined Town roles.
Custom - All roles available, host chooses the roles that are gonna be in the game
All any - Random roles are picked, but are listed on the role list as "Any"
Rapid Mode - Custom, but with shorter day and night sections
Vigilantics - Vigilants vs Witches.Witches try to control Vigilants, who have to kill all the witches. (No one plays on this btw)

I personally like All any much, because no-one knows the roles available. You really have to investigate and play the risk-reward game. Also it's easier to lie for a mafia :D

I played this game a few months ago during school, and at one point during lunch there were like 5 of us in the same server and we didn't know who was who until the end. It was funny. I'm always up to play if people want.
