Yeah. People on this site play a lot of different games (read: pretty much just Minecraft and Kancolle), but sometimes our general interests overlap, and we can always find new games we haven't played before. And advertising for our favorites is always fun. So, I thought it would be nice to have a general topic here where people can either recommend games for other people to play, or ask for recommendations from other people.

That's not why I made this topic. The real reason I made this topic is because I have $4 on Steam and don't know what to do with it, and would like to use it while stuff is on sale. So you see, I am entirely selfish.

I have Minecraft and Terraria on my Kindle Fire, but are there any other good games on the appstore?

I've heard that Super Amazing Wagon Adventure is really fun, and it's dirt cheap.

If you like platformer-puzzles, Out There Somewhere isn't a bad choice. It's also really cheap right now.

I can confirm that out there somewhere is a pretty good game, a bit short but good gameplay and fairly cheap. I also highly recommend Undertale, it is a 11/10 game

I now have Out There Somewhere and $3.51 on my Steam account.

It was probably better to buy the developer alliance bundle. You can still buy it if you want but the only other game of worth in the bundle is Polarity.

I'm gonna mention some Steam games.

-Lethal League
-Nidhogg
-Divekick

Three fighting games that are very simple and easy to learn, but have a good amount of depth and are fun to play with friends. If you're into fighting games, of course.

-Skullgirls

Marvel vs Capcom 2, but with way more female fighters. Has a nice team fight system where you can pick 1-3 fighters. A single fighter is stronger, but a team can make use of assists. It also has a story and... weird fan service that crosses a bit into nightmare fuel at times... But beyond aesthetics, it's a pretty deep and very good fighting game. If you care about fighting games. PLEASE GET IT I HAVE ALMOST NO ONE TO PLAY THIS GAME WITH

...Of course, if you aren't tired of hearing about that game already...

-Terraria

Minecraft, but in 2D, with tons more weapons and magic and stuff, with more customizability to your character's equipment and look, more nightmarish creatures to fight... It's pretty cool.

If you like games with plot. I never really played much Aquaria though, but it' does have some unique stuff.

I really don't like it when people compare Terraria to Minecraft. Nowadays Terraria has grown way more than Minecraft and the two are vastly different.

The ones I most reccomend are Osmos, Attack The Light, Puzzles and Dragons, and Pixel Dungeon.

Card Wars is a good game but damn, that thing lagged so much they had to severely reduce the sound quality and graphics just to get it not to crash.
