I've been asking people for critique on my Smash 4 playing and on how to defeat bosses in Terraria. I thought I'd do the same here and make this thread for everyone else to do the same.
So, if you need help on finding something, defeating a boss, want some tips to improve, or how to do a certain glitch or technique, or whatever it is that's on your mind with gaming that you need assistance on, then bring it up for discussion.

The only thing I am having trouble with is Duke Fishron's second form.
The only thing I haven't done is use ironskin and regeneration potions.
I've come close, but not enough.
I'm on the Xbox version of it btw.

Unless the console version differs from the PC version, you can cheese him really easily.
Make a diamond of rails above your ocean biome, generally the bigger the better. Summon him, immediately hop in your minecart, and get up to 50mph or so (you want to be just a little faster than him). Spectre armour/hood and staff gives you an easy way to shoot homing magic protectiles that heal you upon successful hit, a tactical shotgun loaded with chlorophye bullets can be used for more DPS when you don't need to heal up. Buffs, platforms with campfires/heart lamps, and healing potions will all make it even easier.
The problem with being stuck to a rail is that you're gonna run right into some of his attacks, especially the tornados, but spectre gear should be enough to keep you alive even without other healing methods (unless maybe if you do expert mode).

I prefer ranger classes as I have a Megashark, Chlorophyte bullets, and Shroomite Armor and it's been really helpful. I can work on Spectre equipment, but I was pretty darn close with what I had. I just need to make some proper adjustments I guess.
EDIT: YES. I just beat him. The trick: I used Titanium Armor. It gave me the buff to avoid the first attack, so I was able to avoid the blue blobs that followed me.
