I'd rather not state some obvious wisdom, so I hope you understand the title.

My personal all-time favorite franchise is Hot Shots Golf. Like, I own them all, from the original up to World Invitational (both versions). I love their style, their animations, the features, and pretty much anything else.

I'm not sure how I'll get a hold of the upcoming PS4 game. If I do move into my father's house, though, it may be a little easier to manage.

The Kirby series has almost never had a "bad" game. It's always had and maintained a good quality in all it's games and are always my favorites.

I'm extremely attached to the MOTHER series, particularly EarthBound (the first RPG I ever played) and MOTHER 3 (the greatest game of all time IMO). To the point that I inevitably end up drawing comparisons to MOTHER when trying to describe why I like other things that I like (The World Ends with You, Undertale, Steven Universe).

Other franchises that I greatly enjoy include Kirby, Kingdom Hearts, Lufia, and Super Smash Bros.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles has been a favorite for a while, as well as Kirby (obv). I also really enjoy the Command and Conquer series up until C&C Renegades, that was pretty much the last good game released in the franchise.

Aside from the mainstream series like Zelda and Mario, I quite like the Megaman Starforce series, especially SF3. I like how SF's "alternate world" is a bit more cohesive with the real world (particularly in 3), compared to Battle Network which seems disjointed at times. Maybe I just like SF's characters and stuff more, idk. I played BN first (BN5 was one of my first GBA games), but something about SF makes it stick out in my mind. It might be because I like SF3's soundtrack so much. So many great tracks, including one of the most kickass final boss themes I've heard.

Basically any Nintendo or Playstation platformer, and some RPG, strategy, racing/party and simulation too I guess
