Play Starbound!

Wikipedia wrote:Starbound is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Chucklefish Games for Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux. Starbound takes place in a two-dimensional, procedurally generated universe which the player is able to explore in order to obtain new weapons, armor, and miscellaneous items. Starbound was released out of early access on July 22, 2016,[6] and is also in development for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.

It's out and people are playing, so why not. You all know the rules I guess, don't spoil things that people don't want spoiled, talk about things you want added, conspiracies, theories, whatever.

So I've been playing starbound a lot lately and for me it got a lot better since the last update having now added a storyline you actually have motivation to move forward in the game, but you don't need to if you don't want to that's what I find cool. Instead you could start a colony of your own, or if that's not your style get rich off farming, explore thousands of random dungeons or even just do quest for random people or not. Since you no longer need to accept any quests (besides the story quests of course).

One thing I want to be fixed is how all the bosses are way to easy or super Broken. which kinda sucks but, it's still a 10/10 game

K so for the ones who play it but haven't gotten this far, one of Nuru's missions involve fighting a dude and some indefinitely spawning mobs until he dies, then you kill the rest and the gate opens.

This mission has been reported as having a huge bug due to the entity-count and the way flamethrower entities work, as there are 4-6 total flame pillars, all releasing blazes as they see fit. The game is forced to render these individual flame particles

To give an example, this is how the game renders WITHOUT the flames.

This is using a flamethrower. Notice the rise in active entities.

"That's not too bad!" Or is it?

Multiply the difference in frames by about 6. Also account for an uncapped amount of entities spawning out of little cubbies, and the fact that the flames appearing and dissappearing are a smooth transition, there are several overlaps, and these can mean the number will be high for some time before suddenly jumping downward.

Whether the entitycount may be some insight to the problem, I am not completely certain. It will require me to actually retry the mission to confirm, and currently /warp'ing is out of the question, because closed missions are closed for good.

(and yes my robot is wearing a meat hat)

Hallo.

Collections are a thing now apparently, and you can go fishing.

If anyone knows how to export maps, I've got a few builds you guys can have to play with.
