Blablob wrote:So...you like the other game more because of its graphics? Are you kidding me!? Of all the features in a game, such as a Gameplay, content, sound, overall FUN, you choose to say SSBE is better because of the graphics...

Sorry, wrong wording. >.< I like the how smooth the characters move. As an, the animation of the characters. In smash flash, the characters lack the animation. Also, I don't think it's fair to judge two games that aren't even on the same demo. SSBE is on what version again? I'm willing to have proof that the game engine will be decent, and characters later. The gameplay in both games are great, and replicate the real Smash bros Brawl. Sound, well, I'd have to use Safari to hear sound, so I'm indifferent about that in these two games. Content? Runouw saves content for later. When more content comes out in later demos, they'll be great.

FUN!? As if I completely forget about fun in a game. I'm not one of those youtube trolls that fail to see a good game just because it lacks something. You see this? I carefully paid attention to all the factors, and made a good review because it had awesome gameplay, (And cool graphics, too, but That's just a small bonus.) Also notice that it doesn't have many replies, because the moajority of us just listen to the critics to see if a game is good or bad. You know SMG2? It got a perfect 10 from IGN. I listened, and got it, and minutes later, I found out it's basically SMG1 with more powerups and galaxies. HELL YEAH, I was disappointed. Is it fun? Yes, but it didn't live up to my expectations because I wasn't introduced to much different. I agreed with the critic, and didn't get what I want. Story and sound are on the BOTTOM of my list.

By now, you're all probably confused or bored, so I'll cut to the chase.
SSBE, smooth, less characters SO FAR...
SSF2, pretty crappy character movement, (And actually, the graphics are better in THIS GAME.) but more characters.

Sure, I'll play this because it has more characters. But whichever one FINISHES best, I'll stick with.

I can't stand that "Sora" thing. Ahh, I just want to kill it.

Not only do the sprites not match WHATSOEVER, but the animation is so poor I cringed when I played as him. Not to mention... if Sora's a guy... MY GOD, HE HAS THE MOST WOMANLY VOICE EVER.

AHH, I CAN'T STAND IT. It looks like his whole moveset was based off... twenty or so sprites.

I'm still trying to figure out if that thing even is a guy. According to wikipedia he is, BUT JESUS MAN, either he lost his b*lls a long time ago in some battle, or he's been trying for some sort of sex change.

Other than that... I really do like SSF2. I just hate the inconsistency of sprites. It seems to me as though mcleod just Googles character sprites, and if the sheet has enough for a moveset, WHAM, they're in. Sure, he has... some... spriters... but nonetheless, you must admit it really does seem like a majority of the characters are taken from poor sprite sites. Because they are.

And that's all well and good for an impatient person. yeah, It means the updates come quicker than SSBE ones, but it also results in a lower quality game. I for one would rather wait for the folks over at the Smash Bros. Project to finish up, and have a game which is at it's fullest, than something that really... isn't.

Like I said.. it's a wonderful game, nonetheless. It's very fun to play (especially with four player all-on-all :P ), and I appreciate that.

Whenever a Justin Bieber song comes up, I get the sudden urge to literally crank heavy metal, to drown out the thought of that... thing.

Please. Don't get me started on Justin Bieber.

Now.. to think of something On-Topic... Aha!

I really like the re-done AI. Now they don't spam grab! Much better. :D

Off-topic: You know, I've never actually listened to a Justin Bieber song. I've heard his voice, though. *Shivers*

On-topic: Yeah, this demo is far better than the previous one. I was hoping for something better than Training Mode as the new mode that everyone was talking about, but hey. The 7 new stages make up for that, eh? :D
Also, I really don't mind the lack of sprites. I don't know about you guys, but the game is very responsive and looks great to me. And there are so many more areas on the game to work on (such as the 20+ hour story mode) so the lack of sprites can be forgiven. :)

Didn't bother me one bit. It feels very fluid. My friend is making one similar to this one, and i'ts gonna be even BETTER! hopefully. I've played the demo on his computer, and it fells a little better than this one. but not by much.

I personally love the engine and gameplay, and feel that both are incredibly solid, but I do NOT appreciate all of the sprite style mixing, nonfluid animation, and anime characters. Sora's double jump fly can be a pain sometimes, too. I don't want to fly uncontrollably every time I finish an air combo. Also makes it a lot harder to grab the Smash Ball.

Gripes aside, I'm in love with everything else about the game. Can't wait for the "Galaxy Tours" stage.
