SSBB stage rater

Postby Blablob » October 3rd, 2009, 7:10 am

Rate stages on SSBB HERE! here are a few rules:

Rate the level from 0-100%, to be as accurate as possible.
Put the name of the level.
NO MELEE STAGES!
you can put your own costum stages, but you must also upload an image (draw it on paint if you have to) of the level, so we can see what it looks like.
a description of why you gave it that score. AT LEAST 2 sentences
Finally, add one of these smily faces next to your rating showing rather you liked the level or not. Here are the available faces. :D :) :( :x  :?: (they range from best to worst) okay, i'll start.

Battlefield.
90%

Battlefield is an awesome level, no doubt. Every fighting game needs the perfect level, where you can just get on with the fight, with no distractions. And that level, when were talking Brawl, is Battlefield. sure, maybe a little more could've been added, but for the most part, it's a great level. The night/day cycle is a good addition as well.

Final Destination
95%

Not too small, not too large? Check.
No stupid stage hazards? Check.
Epic background? Check.

It's just the best stage to make a epic fight. It just isn't 100% because characters with distance weapons are invited to spam them.

Shadow Moses Island
78%

The island where Snake destroyed his first Metal Gear in a MGS game, home to the Spotlights and guard towers, it's sure to make you do things very sneaky like......or not.
This a Snake-Specific, thing, but the Codec calls and the feeling of this place as Snake is just great, the music is great too, The only itch that's wrong with it to me is the guard towers force you to hit your opponents up if you want a KO, and if they're doing something cheap, you would only have up or forward to go.

* Snake: Otacon! What's this lizard thing?
* Otacon: That's a Yoshi. It's a dinosaur from Yoshi's Island. Watch out for its long, chameleon-like tongue. If it gets you, you'll be swallowed whole.
* Snake: It lays eggs and throws them, right? ...Then it must be female.
* Otacon: ...Actually, it's a "he." At least, that's what it says.
* Snake: It talks!?
* Otacon: Yes! It talks! Well, kind of...
* Snake: Now you've got me curious. ...How about I capture one so we can see what they taste like?
* Otacon: Uhh, Snake...

THE CREED: Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
"...That's rather cynical."

"It would be if it were doctrine, but it is merely an observation of the nature of reality.
To say that Nothing is True is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shephards of our own civilization.
To say that Everything is Permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with the consequences, whether glorious...or tragic."
-Ezio Auditore da Firenze explaining the Creed, 1514, Masayaf.

Swirl
70% :)

This is a level i made awhile back. The level can make KO's easy if you are at the top, but once you get all the way in, it'll be hard. Sometimes you'll get stuck, since the path to get up on the right is very high. This can sometimes make things difficult.

Halberd
99%

This is almost the perfect stage. It's big enough so you have room but not too big to get overwelming. The flight of the halberd in the backround is very cool, and almost makes you dizzy sometimes (the only downside of the level). After about 3 minutes of flying around, you'll land on the deck of the halberd, where you'll have to dodge a few obstacles. This is NOT a bad thing, as it simply adds fun to the level. You'll have lots of fun battling on this stage.

Pictochat
79% :(

This level representing the DS-only function comes to brawl as it's own level. And it doesn't dissapoint. The level starts out as a simple platform, with calm music to aid the flow of battle, but then drawings come to life. Rather it is fire or a face blowing, each drawing has an effect. The only problem is that some of the drawings are useless, like the platforms that are drawn just to take up space, and don't do anything.
