I edit my savestate and make that im on a blue yoshi, then yoshi eats a shell and flys over.

If it's a....

Koopa Army- keep filling the gap with corpses until you can walk across.
Few Koopas-Toss all but one shell over the gap, while those shells are still in the air, toss another one to move them slightly forward and stop them from falling, then jump on the nearest shell to repeat the process until you get over the gap. Yes!

You guys are being WAY TOO un-marioish. I mean, "fill up the gap with corpses"? Where would you see that? As Wazamaga said before, this is the original game. It's Super Mario World, so act as if you were playing SUPER MARIO WORLD!!

there is a block up ahead you hit it. a giant mushroom pops out and you eat it. you turn giant and jump across the gap. tada!!! :D

Umm.. Hmm... First get rid of all the shells but one... Then Throw the shell up in the air! Perfectly time it so you jump in the air and land on the shell! :D Causing you to get an extra boost that will get you over the edge! :D:D:D

Haha thank you! :O Alright here's another sticky situation!!!

Your in the classic Super Mario Bros. trapped in Bowser's Castle. You cannot go back, since this is the classic one, and in front of you is Bowser! Throwing hammers and spitting fire angrily! You have no fire flower, so the only solution is to hit the axe at the end of the bridge! As you are about to attempt the run, you realize your nintendo controller's run button and jump button is stuck! You can't run or jump! You see a fireball coming straight at you, and realize you are running out of time! How will you avoid the fireball and get to the axe?

EDIT:

Btw people, I'm looking for something creative! Of course, it has to apply realistically, so you can't force or add any extra items in the game, but do something that will throw me off! Do something that I would never expect! :)

You duck down and it misses you completely.
Then you wait for Bowser to jump and go under him.
Then you get to the axe!

You have 2 lives. Let Bowser kill you, then on the 2nd try, get a fire flower. Then use that to kill him. :D

This is totally impossible to do in a mario game but.....

Screw around with your Controller until you manage to fix it, if you had the time, run back, do a wall jump, and jump even higher than you could before, over Bowser, and with the axe, tada!!!! and for your reward mario....
It looks like peach from the back, until the person turns around......




Luigi:I'm sorry Mario, but Peach is in another castle.
Mario:DAMNIT!!!!!!!!

Alternative.

As said before, die, except, don't go for a fire flower, take a Roto-Disc and use it to hit bowser with, or at least go for a star.

Last Alternative

Grab a hammer lying next to you, throw it at the Fireball, grab another hammer and unlatch yourself from the bridge and throw it at the rope as you jump over the bridge.
