Mafia Game - Sign-Up

Mafia is a brain-teaser like game where a varying amount of people can play. They are divided into two groups, Mafia and Citizens. The Citizens win when the Mafia is gone, and the Mafia win when they are the majority left or there is only 1 citizen left. The catch? The Citizens don't know who the Mafia are, but the Mafia does.
There are other roles in addition to those mentioned: the Doctor, the Sheriff, the Insomniac, the Trapper, the Thug, the Godfather and the lovers. Some of these may or may not be put into play depending on the number of people we get.

This is the SIGN-UP. If you sign up, you get a house. You can choose if you want, else it is randomly determined. The houses are built-up like this (top-view).

DURING THE DAY

- Everyone, including the Mafia, will say who they want killed. After everyone voted, the specified person will be "killed" and removed from play. In the case of a tie, the Mayor decides who will be killed.
- If a Thug thinks that a Mafia member will be killed, then they will announce that they will be killed instead.

DURING THE NIGHT

- The Trapper will PM the game leader with the name of a person whose house they want to trap.
- The Mafia members will PM the game leader with the names of the player(-s) that they want dead (it will be announced how many people they can kill). In case of a tie, the Godfather will give the final vote, and there's a 33% chance the Godfather dies. If he doesn't want to vote someone, nobody gets killed.
- The Doctor will PM the game leader with the name of the person they want to save. If the Mafia tried to kill this person, it gets saved.
- The Sheriff will PM the game leader with the name of a person. They will then find out whether that person is Mafia or Public.

For all decisions there's a limit of 3 days. Else, no trap is getting installed/no one is getting killed/no one will be safe/no one's group will be revealed.
Mafia members can discuss in something like this who they want killed. All posts will be deleted the next in-game day.

Important Notes:

- The Godfather and Thug are in the Mafia, but every other special role is a Citizen.
- The Godfather appears good when checked by the sheriff and can't be killed at night.
- The Insomniac hears all activity in his/her house or adjacent houses (anyone entering or leaving). If activity in an adjacent room, they discover what they were doing, but not who they are; if in their room, they discover the identity and what they were doing. It will be PM'd to him.
- The lovers knows each other one, and if one of them dies, the life of the other one has no purpose anymore and he commits suicide.
- The trap of the Trapper will kill whoever first enters the house. It's done in this order: Mafia, Doctor, Sheriff. If no one of them enters the house at night, the trap gets deactivated.
- The game begins with a DAY where the Mayor is being voted. Those who want to be Mayor just make a short speech (or not) why they will be the best Mayor. The others vote who will be Mayor. If the Mayor gets killed, he will PM the game leader who will be the next Mayor. No people get killed. Then the real game begins with NIGHT.

Yeah i'll play too...although the 3 day limit seems kinda long...but there are different time zones so scratch what I said.

I used to play a game like this a lot but it was a bit dumbed down. (Just citizen, mafia, doctor, sheriff...and no houses.)

Mafia was the original, then diefferent types came like Werewolf and Kira.

Half of the people are mafia.

And now for some story. Story is always in quote tags.

The sun rose over the new town. A guy who was called fourinone strived through the streets. It seemed like a ghost town, until he met up with a gropu of other people. They were called victor12, samgamereviews, aznchau4ever and Ridder. After some smalltalk, they went through the streets together. Some people left the group when arriving at their reserved houses, others strive around and choose the house they like most.

While entering the city, TheUnown7 falls over a bag lying on the street. "My bad!" shouted a guy out of house 20, "Forgot it on the the street!" - "No problem," said TheUnown7 and threw the bag to the guy. He moved on through the streets, to his house, number 10.

Heh, exactly one day before you made this, I was thinking about organizing this game, but thought it was too much of a drag. Now I can participate but not have to lead it!

I want house 3, because beside it being my favorite number, I'll be Foru's neighbor! (misspelling intended)
