Everyone! We must stop seeing people as men and women, black or white and all the colors in between, as straight or gay or whatever, as... well, anything that a person can be, and start seeing everyone as a human being!

Equality for all!

This was my revolutionary moment. Nobody will pay attention to it. :P

Remember that Project 64/emulator discussion back at pages 96/97?

A couple days ago, I FINALLY ordered a N64 USB PC thingy from eBay, brand new, too. Once it comes in the mail, I'm gonna get myself into playing various SM64 hacks. Can't wait! ^_^

I can't believe how weird my dreams tend to be.

At the end or my dream last night, there was a guy who had a Lucky Charms-shaped axe who crushed more cereal while yelling, "you are a burden!" Every time he swung it.

Lol I've dreamed the 28th LDC would be started already.

And another night I've dreamed I would miss one train after the other on my way home for unexplainable reasons...

Rating standards: show
1 star: (0 - 5.75 in LDC) These levels need a lot of work. They're totally un-elaborated, and/or inherently flawed due to things like cutoff or enemy spam, or they're untested and there are too many bugs gameplay-wise, in short: Many many things went wrong in such a level.

2 stars: (6 - 9.75) These levels are not terrible, but poor. They're too short, lack scenery or they have errors and/or bugs but it's still barely enjoyable. Again, spend more effort and try to do better. (if it's your first level that I rate two stars, it's not bad. There's a long way you can still go)

3 stars: (10 - 12.75) These levels are about mediocre. They may be still a little bit short, the gameplay is fine but not very original and graphics are also solid, but not breath-taking. Try to keep improving!

4 stars: (13 - 15) These levels are nice, but not the best. Effort has been put into them, there can some professionality be seen in gameplay and graphics, they're a nice experience to play, but there are still things you can do to make it even better. Try to go the extra mile!

5 stars: (15.25 - 20) These are really great levels, those which, as said, I would give more than 15 in an LDC. These suffice many high requirements, and it already goes into subtleties if you want to make them better. These levels are successful all around. Bravo.

These are just general principles I try to follow when rating. Sometimes I don't leave a further comment when rating, most times I do, if you have questions about it, feel free to ask further.

What happened?

I'm not going to rant about it for a whole lot since some people will probably think I'm seeking attention or some ♥♥♥♥ (and since I've ranted to three people today), but essentially;

1. Before that event, I had cooked steak a grand total of zero times.

2. Mom is out of the house, leaving only my sister and I. She wants us to cook dinner involving Steak and Couscous. I could certainly cooked Couscous, but I was pretty clueless about steak.

3. I go upstairs and ask my sister to come down and help me with the steak since I haven't cooked one before. Apparently she was doing some stuff on minecraft or something (although she's an admin on her server, she didn't seem busy at the time).

4. She tells me quick and vague instructions on how to cook the steak. I literally tell her in front of her face still, 'I don't think I can reliably follow these instructions, please come downstairs and help me when you're ready'.

5. She stares at me, ignores me, and turns back to her screen, ceasing all further conversation. This leaves me royally ♥♥♥♥.

6. As a last resort, I text mom instructions and she ends up texting me instructions, but with nobody to supervise me or help me manage my portions a few things go wrong.

7. I add a little bit too much oil when seasoning the steaks, and nobody warned me that the oven got hotter than most other ovens when preheated to broil. So I open the oven, the hot air catches me off-guard, and I nearly burn my ♥♥♥♥ face and arm off on the rack. I just barely managed to save myself from it.

8. Nobody told me the proper way to put the pan in either, or where to stand when doing so. So I end up struggling with it and nearly burn my hand.

9. I wait the proper time, go through hell step two since I had to flip the steaks and re-insert them into the oven for a second time, and wait. Then my sister finally comes down.

10. '[Sis], what took you so long? Rather, why didn't you help me?'

'What are you talking about? You never told me anything about helping you cook.'

'[Sis], I was right in front of your face when I told you this.'

'You're being unreasonable.' She says as she does nothing but get a bowl of cereal and check to 'make sure the oven was off'. She acknowledged the fact I was making dinner for the both of us, and the steaks were right in front of her resting. Yet she didn't touch them (half of me is glad she didn't, they didn't burn, but they were medium rare and I 'forgot' to trim some fat off the steak).

Later when I asked her nicely to please help me next time so I don't nearly get killed, she laughed and thought I was exaggerating. I'm not even going to go into events after that, like her complaining about doing dishes even though she volunteered to do them or not getting the doorbell when it was crucial that she needed to do it for me since I had just gotten out of the shower, and ♥♥♥♥ like that.

I don't know. I'm just horribly upset with her.

Wow. Sometimes a sister can be cruel. You was almost killed by an oven and she didn't react.

Ah well though. The weekend was ♥♥♥♥, hopefully things get better. I'm kinda glad she's moving out to Canada soon though. Hopefully I can get my own living place soon as well.
