Another way to see it is, violence will never really affect you in the way you think. Most people will never be faced with it. And the people who are, will have surely not been thinking "damn why did this happen to me" during the attack. Pretty sure they'll have had more important things to think about.
I know this mindset might not work for everyone, but it's what keeps me going. I know there's always a possibility that the city I work in could be attacked one day and I'd never use that as a reason to not go out and make the most of the life I still have. Just keep hope. Spread love. Change happens.
Change starts with one. What we do for others can have an impact in the world. You got the right idea, Amp.
