I've laughed a lot, I've said a lot of regrettable things here, I learned an incredible deal, I miss a lot of people I haven't really seen since the community left, I've met a wonderful girlfriend here I'm probably going to stick with for life, I've shared my love for Mario and Nintendo IP's with a large majority of folks, and well... more importantly, I had a lot of fun.

For those of you who played Into the Shadows with me, please keep me in the back of your head. One day, I'll make it a reality.

Thanks. You made me feel less lonely while I was here. To a fault, probably, I do regret not going outside more. RL is great, but I was too insecure to do much about it. But now, in the middle of COVID, I realize what this place meant to me: a place where I never felt alone. I went to a very strict and demanding high school, and this was the place where I felt the most free. I guess even here I fell to my overbearing expectations of myself. But it's okay, you learn. You grow. I don't think I grown enough, but I have grown a lot.
And you know, there were a lot of great people here. I hope they are all doing great in life. Maybe they felt the same way about this place. Maybe not. Maybe they just came here for the memes, but come on, the memes were pretty awful you are not tricking anyone here.
So yeah, if someone younger is reading this, don't get too caught up on your hobbies. They are great, but you need to give yourself the space to learn before you expect great things. Or not, maybe you are the 1 in 1000000 who does everything right in the first try. But yeah, try letting things go. It's worth a try.
BUT I SHOULD HAVE WON THE 21 LDC AND BUFF KNEW IT AND DEDUCTED POINTS BECAUSE HE DIDN'T LIKE MY TREE SPAM WHICH IS DUMB BECAUSE WE ALL LOVE TREE SPAM, ITS MY SHTICK, BUFF YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN A JUDGE, I KNOW YOU ARE READING THIS, I AM MAD.
EDIT: WTF is wrong with my avatar? I didn't remember this. Oh well
EDIT2: Ok, now that I am lecturing without any kind of authority, I might as well go the extra mile. Like, I don't know if they are still as big a deal as they used to be, but man I wished I chilled the f up about LDCs. Not everything will fit in nicely with an LDC theme or limitation. You don't have to have a good score to make a good level. Take the opportunity to create something you like and learn about the design process. Don't obsess so much over scores, it's all petty stuff. Just chill and enjoy the creative process, the rush you get when you get a cool idea and the satisfaction when you pull it off.
