What internet router are you using?

When I play minecraft with my friends, I always lag. And my mom also said that ahe is having issue connecting to the network sometimes. So my family considering about buying a new internet router. So, what router you guys recommended? Or what router you are u using? Currently I am using D-link and i have 1000 mbps.

Wireless router or other kind? I never bought any internet router, the internet provider gave one to me by the default (it's a cisco of some sort if it counts). If you're talking about a wireless router, then perhaps a belkin could work.

Bear in mind that the more connections, the more it is spaced apart, and the slower things will be. If you're doing LAN, you're using your network as a server, and everyone is pulling from you. Unless you can maintain multiple devices without stuttering, you need to look at dedicated servers.
