2 against 3 (as well as 3 against 4) is pretty easy once you figure it out. At least, in my experience.

Oh, hemiolas! That's what I was thinking of. Yeah, it's not too difficult nowadays, but I remember it being something I struggled with while playing piano for a bit.

I play trombone, but I haven't touched my instrument since senior year since I quit (due to a terrible band director). However, I'm going back into community bands, hopefully, come April.

I also play a few chords on guitar, though it's mostly escaped me. Also, since I play trombone, I can technically play baritone/euphonium as well, as long as I can figure out the valve positions and transpose.
