I assume it means that we will not get the old chat back. Therefore from that assumption, we will not need to choose the style of the chat since it wouldn't be the old chat. The chat should reappear at some point in the future, but not in the old style.

Aw, bummer. I liked the old style.

I mean, it's just at the top of the page. You don't have to constantly flick back and forth between two tabs.

I'm not sure that I liked having to scroll all the way down the page to get to the discussion of Runouw's games and the artwork/media section.

this is the most active section, it only makes sense to have it high up

The whole idea is that main focus of the site should be the flash games, when it's not. I'm not much of an LDer myself anymore.

This is a pretty standard forum layout, anyway. The main focus is raised upwards and the extra discussion is at the bottom of the page, often out of the view of newcomers and such, even if it's the most active. If you really wanted to, you could just bookmark it or something.

Here's an idea to satisfy the whiners that's probably impossible to implement: Reorganizable forum index saved to your cookies or whatever.

The artwork forum honestly needs more attention than it was getting before. Everyone must be forced to scroll past it for it to gain attention, obviously.
