Level Designer Contest Debate

OK, so an interesting question has come up in the 4th level designer contest topic while waiting for the judges to judge. Would you have a problem with a contest being Christmas themed? Or Chanukah themed? If it had a theme of some religion-specific holiday? Discuss!

How about this. How about just a "Holiday" Theme? So anyone can do Christmas, or Hanukkah, or Qwanzaa? Okay, if people are really offended by a level, then that is their problem, they seriously shouldn't make a big deal about it. Yes, you can call that blasphemous or whatever, I don't care, that's what I think though. Me myself, I'm Atheist, I don't believe in any gods. That does not mean I can't enjoy celebrating Christmas. You do know that Christmas is an international holiday right?

I think it should be Christmas themed but they can make it any way they want to, like calling it a Christmas theme put making it Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa looking since I bet we are not going to make it Christ mas themed because you guys think it would start to offend other people.
Hey I have a idea, lest ask people who don't celebrate Christmas if they would be offended if it would be Christmas themed and if most of them say that they would be offended then it is winter themed, if most of theme say it wouldn't offend then then it would be Christmas themed.

I'm Jewish. And yes, I would be offended. And I agree with Azn; I said in the beginning I would have no problem with a winter-themed one. And if you want to make it holiday-based, that is a personal choice.

Maybe just a simple snow theme?
