Avatar: The Last Human Na'vi Indian

You've probably heard and seen the movie called Avatar. Well, I have a few things to say about Avatar, and if you haven't heard of it, here's the basic story:

Image

Yes. This movie is basically any of your black and white movies about natives against greedy settlers. I'm not kidding. For all of you who say you loved this movie, you don't. You just love the "CGI," and the "AWESOME ACTIONS," Which I will admit, this movie does have. Although that doesn't make it anywhere CLOSE to the "best movie ever." Think about it, this man, James Cameron, took TEN years to make this movie. Do you NOT expect it to have perfect CGI? Do you NOT expect it to have amazing Special Effects? The movies lines are so corny and cliched, the story is completely generic, this is what we've been waiting 10 years for?!

Please. Prove me wrong. Tell me why this movie is so great? I really want to see why people think it is. I mean, YES, I saw it in 3D, and, if you ask me it changed nothing. Woo, Real-D effects, how cool, they can make stuff pop out in your face.

I thought it was alright, the action and other stuffz is what made people "like" it. I also agree with the story, but when have ever people gone to see something which is comepletely different. Most people prefer what already exists, but has a different take. Yes, it was a good movie, but it is by far, not the best movie.

OK, I just saw it for the second time, this time in 3D. As you acknowledged, the effects and 3D and action and stuff are all awesome, which not only would you expect from a movie that took forever to make but also from a movie made by James Cameron.

However, about the rest of your criticisms. First of all, I agree that this is in no way the best movie ever made nor is it among my top movies. There is no doubt the story is old. But that's not necessarily a bad thing as long as I enjoyed myself, which I did. Second, your criticisms of the script. So maybe it's not the best screenplay in the world. So what? One of my all time favorite movies, Independence Day, has been criticized for having one of the cheesiest scripts known to man. And while nothing compares to Star Crash (haven't heard of it? It's a B-movie rip-off of Star Wars that's so bad it's freakin' hilarious; I mean the robot talks with a Texan accent. How much better could it get?), yes, it is a fairly cheesy screenplay. But so what? It was good fun. So, while Avatar certainly has it's flaws, I thought it was a pretty good movie.

If it's corny, it's real.
If it's 3d, it's real.
if it's about greedy ArseFurks, then it's real.

It's not that hard to create something real anymore, when everything is pretty corny and cheesy and chickeny..........

Goddamnit, you made me hungry.

THE CREED: Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
"...That's rather cynical."

"It would be if it were doctrine, but it is merely an observation of the nature of reality.
To say that Nothing is True is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shephards of our own civilization.
To say that Everything is Permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with the consequences, whether glorious...or tragic."
