Joke around? Who would joke around about this?

This is tragic, what was the sport he competed in?

EDIT: azn, that's harsh.

People die. It's part of life. Deal with it. We all have our ways of dealing with problems. Don't think that just because I joke doesn't mean I don't feel sorry for the guy. This isn't a disaster. This is just a death that happened to someone who was known.

Well have you looked at our economy lately?
A ton of famous people died in the SAME EXACT MONTH.
Coincedence?
And then Haiti gets hit with earthquake.
Thousands of people died.

And now someone died at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games practice.

Do you think that it's a part of life?
For all of these disasters to occur one after the other?

I don't.

Then what do you think it is? 'Cause it's not Doomsday, that's just stupid.

*laughter*

A LOT of people die everyday. People dying is a disaster to some people depending on who the dead person is. (Close relative=disaster, stranger=meh... who cares. Someone else might...) That counts as "one after the other."

Yeah but a mass killing?
EVERY DAY?
Don't think so.

And people don't die everyday in a SPECIAL EVENT.
So don't say it's JUST A DEATH because it's not just a death.

THEN WHAT IS IT?

Death is just a way of life, you can't live forever.

It doesn't matter HOW MANY people die in a day, or how they die, they just die, it's a way of life.

Let me get something off my chest.

Did anyone make a topic for MJ? Billy Mays? Haiti? No. So why suddenly make a topic for THIS guy? Because its current? Ha! People are still going on about Michael Jackson! HE DIED IN JUNE. ITS ALREADY BEEN LIKE 6 MONTHS. We haven't made any topics about Michael Jackson, Billy, OR Haiti. All of them are tragic. Now we have THIS. And I don't even think we know the guys name! Why make a topic for this Russian Olympian, and not make anything for the others?
OK. Done.

Now, get yourselves prepared for another rant.

They died. They're famous. They're still people. They're MADE to die eventually. Like every other living thing. Their stars. So? That doesn't mean they have a low chance of dying on the same month as each other. If Billy Mays wasn't famous, would we complain about all these deaths of stars? Probably not.

My point being, they're regular people. Just a little more well known. They die eventually. They just happened to die on the same month. When I go to church, during the announcements, I hear that at least 5 people died each week in my town. And Brick is a SMAALLL town.

RANT IS OFFICIALLY DONE.
