Has anyone ever known that someday, The sun will be old from working that much and it will die. Causing our world to have no day, and all night. Wont that be scary? Think about it, the sun has lived for millions of years, But how much longer will it take for it to die? Explain what you think

Actually, the sun has been around for billions of years (I read it up, how great am I ), and it still has enough power in it to stay around for more billions of years. But yes, the sun will one day disappear from our skies.

I really don't know what to say. I'm not going to be alive when it happens, so I really don't care either

If the sun dies, then we are dead. >_> Since it's a medium sized planet, it will grow about 2-3 times its size I think, and that will no doubt kill us all, then it will shrink until it's no more.

SUPERNOVA!!!! But yeah.. it will kinda explode, kill Earth and be done with it.

Yep, and if the explosion doesn't finish us, the lack of sunlight will. Those plants won't survive, thus, the animals too will die out, leaving us with no food whatsoever.

Ain't gonna happen in our lifetime though, nor any of our grandkids'.

EDIT: And yeah, the sun isn't a planet. It's a star.

Uhh, the Sun has definitely lived for alot more then 2009 years. ALOT more. It will take billions of years for the sun to die though. -.-

I thought Supernovas only happened with extremely large stars. o.O
