Or maybe you're just an ENTJ :p Idk, I have an ENFJ friend and while she's got a darker side to her personality (I mean literally, she likes lots of black clothes), she is very much like "I love you and I'm going to take over your life and teach you how to live it" kinda thing. But lol she's still awesome.

Lawl, I was mostly kidding (and overexaggerating a lot) there, but it's just that I see it so often everywhere, it seems like it's the only truth they actually know about ENFJs.

Also I did the Enneagrams test and got 2w3. 2w8 came out as a second possibilita, but nah, it doesn't really fit.

There's no such thing as 2w8 anyway, you're either a wing 1 or wing 3. I'm a 4w5, aka an intellectual artist, which I like.
I'd say 2w1 has the perfectionist qualities, whereas 2w3 has the ambition. 2w3 is definitely more extroverted. After all it's about which fits to you.
(funny I think my ENFJ friend was probably 2w3 too :p)

Enneagram is fun but it's a totally different system to MBTI anyway. All I know is my current stance on my enneagram triad is 4w5, 5w4, 1w9.

lmao really? It confuses me a lot since the test said 8 was a third possibility. But seems like I have to learn more about that (this "wing" things is alien to me )

As far as I understand it, the "wings" are just plus or minus the... "core" I guess. I took this like a month ago and these were my results so I guess that makes me a 5w4. After a little googling, it's not wrong at all. (In the very limited amount of research I've done on enneagram stuff, I've also seen types with wings written as 5/4 for 5w4, 4/5 for 4w5, etc.) I wouldn't trust enneagram too much because it seems a lot less detailed and theory-based than stuff like socionics and it tries to predict behaviour a lot, but I can't really say this is inaccurate (mostly because like 99% of that applies to me). At the very least it's fun to think about, even if it's not well-founded.

The wings only specify certain aspects of you, I see myself really as a type 4 but saying I'm a 4w5 means I can be a bit more defined. E.g. a 4w3 is more needy for the attention of others and overall are more extroverted, whereas a 4w5 is quite content to be left alone but will still need company and approval from time to time. That's like, one difference. But everyone has a triad, everyone has a heart, head and body type, it's just in order of which is more prevalent.

Body types are the ones I can't truly understand yet, as heart and head speak for themselves. But it's probably because although I'm a type 1, it is my weakest of the three.

I haven't done that much looking, but this is the most similar one I could find (namely, it tries to gauge cognitive functions, instead of measuring I vs E, N vs S, etc): http://similarminds.com/classic_jung.html It's longer, but it's pretty much the same otherwise if anyone's looking for just an initial rough estimate thing (since tests aren't necessarily the most reliable things anyway). just as an example for you to see what results look like, here's mine:

It seems pretty consistent with my past results and my own research, at least, so there's that. Also, it comes bundled with really succinct and honestly fairly accurate descriptions of each function, which is nice. We should probably switch the link in the OP to either this or something else.

I guess it's fine where it is now, but SD has a lack of lighthearted topics and it also might just overall be a better place for personality/cognitive theory discussion. I'm not sure, though.

... So this is a yes from me. SD is the best forum and could benefit from less morbid serious discussion, also I just don't like good threads being in the same forum as Forum Games. :p For real though, I vote yes, but it's not a super critical thing.

It was in FoA originally and I thought it was a good topic that deserved views from everyone, so that's why I moved it out and into regular Off-Topic.
I don't have any issues moving it to Serious Discussion tho.
