So a few days ago I was walking in the park with my girlfriend. We walked past a young couple happily strolling along with a baby in a carriage. My girlfriend began to talk about how much she wants to get married someday and have children. I told her it would be strange if we stayed together long enough that we ended up being married, since we've known each other for a few years and are dating as we're entering college. She said it's not that infrequent for it to happen and that her parents went to grammar school together or whatever. It struck me as odd because I'd never even thought about marrying her since we've only been dating for a few weeks and I'm a teenager.
