This is for the people who might be having problems in their lives and need someone to talk to about it. Here are some users who have offered help:

-~MP3 Amplifier~
To anyone who needs a friend or feels lonely or has a serious problem they can't keep to themselves...please talk to me. I know how it feels to be alone, and I'd hate to see anyone feeling like that. I'm nice, and I will listen. I don't always have an answer but I'll give it my best shot. Believe me :3 (+ 100% confidentiality FTW)

I'm feeling conflicted, and I do not know what to do. :(

I am very, very, very picky in terms of music. I totally restrict myself to Christian Music.
Now... I was going through related "Christian" albums through the iTunes Store, and I found a certain album that I really liked. I bought two songs from "Playjerise," assuming they were Christian, but after looking them up--THEY WEREN'T! The confusion was that I found it while going through Christian albums, and some were mistakenly labeled "Singer/Songwriter," while some WERE so. I didn't know what to expect, and Playjerise's "Better Life" album seemed Christian-like to me at first, but it turned out to be totally, and only "Acoustic."

I feel very bad, because I previously bowed to myself that I'd only listen to Christian Music, and I've already grown into that; "brainwashed." I actually adore the album, but I don't know what to do - whether I should give up listening to Playjerise and keep myself fully restricted to Christian Music, or if I should keep listening to them and break my self-promise.
The decision hurts terribly. I actually like the band, but I feel conflicted on what would make me feel better. I do not usually feel good while I listen to non-Christian songs, but I really enjoyed listening to the "Better Life" album before I discovered the shock.

Restricting yourself to one form of expression seems very unhealthy in my eyes. If you like a singer or a band, it's not restricted for you to listen to them. I understand that religion is very important to you, but by all means, listen to what you want to listen to, don't let the beliefs of others be cast onto you if they contradict with what you feel is right or wrong.

At first I thought I only liked classical and jazz, being the ♥♥♥♥ I was back then, but now I've grown an obsession with many genres - electroswing, speedcore, ambient, drum and bass, VGMs (Touhou mainly), chiptune, many songs that come on the radio no matter what genre, and many more kinds besides.

Restrictions you place on yourself for the kind of music you should listen to are quite useless, because you'll grow to find your natural preferences without them.

Oops. :3

As much as I'd love to use this topic to help myself I reeeeally dunno if the forum would like to know all about my life. Most of it probably wouldn't be taken well.
Besides, keeping a smile and a brave face is one of the strongest things I can do. Been doing it non-stop the past years, I've gotten pretty damn good at it. ;)

You'd want to get keep all your 'crap' off the internet. Once posted, it's always here. And that's not even mentioning how you bring down the community.

If you have problems, seek real life help. There's only so much we can do here and it's completely public (hey guests!).

While I actually agree with most of your point, I don't think it's possible to keep everybody from seeking help through this community; some Users do trust other Users on the site here.
I, personally, believed I could get enough help through here, and I wasn't concerned of the fact that anyone could view it. How could I be harmed by the guests who see it? There is no tangible way they could put me at risk.

There are some people whom are more comfortable sharing their problems and seeking help through the Internet, or they do not--but still.

Well, like my sig says, you can always drop me a PM for help if you need it and don't want it to be shown publicly. I actually do online counselling for some people soo...I can give pretty decent advice most of the time.

But Buff is right. Posting problems and personal issues here means it can be seen by everyone, even if the post is deleted.
