Somehow people have gotten the opinion that this topic is about romance movies (not just you YK, others too earlier), which I don't think was really the point of this topic. That said, I just saw The Notebook, and figured that a review of this would fit the topic nicely. Now, I pride myself in being hard to move to tears. I recall only crying at two movies, and I can't even remember what one of those movies was. However, this came mighty close to being the third. Man, what a (almost) tearjerker! The notion did run through my head several times that the plot was sort of cliché, with a woman being torn between two men and all that. But the film was simply crafted so well, and the acting was topnotch. So yeah. Really a great movie, despite the cliché and predictable plot. I'm not even really a fan of romance movies. But yeah. I don't know if there's any conclusion you want to draw from this. That was just on my mind, I guess.
