Ah, the typical parental restriction because their child is dating online incidents....so much fun.

What I don't like is when parents just go "oh, you can't date him/her", but won't give a straight answer. I mean...really? Is it because of religion? Is it because of their past? Do you not like them because they aren't the girl you imagined? What? But then, when you think about it, it's not because they don't like the person...

...It's the fear they're giving them away to the wrong person, that they have to let their child go and grow up....

A long time ago, i had a friend on minecraft. Her name was WingMan217(it was her brother's account). She often was very easily upset on the server and often said that she was off to cry or something because of of the other staff were being douchebags. The server we had met on had been shut down after a while, as the owner had lost interest in hosting it. There was another server that we sometimes went on during the time the old server was still up. She was generally very friendly and we got to be close 'lovebirds' in Minecraft. We often exchanged amusing greetings using silly nicknames.
After a while both servers kind of disappeared. A while later, about 4 months later, I see the server being pinged on my server list again. I got on and waited for her. We exchanged greetings and it kind of started back up again. I had already gotten op before I had met her, but she worked her way up through the ranks and got admin. A while later that server went down again and we didn't talk for a while. But the owner of the other server talked to the old owner of the first server and got the rights to use the website ip and brought the server up again. Things just started getting complicated and the new owner said she had been cheating on me and I just stopped caring because I could never reach her on the server anymore.
