Respond back.

I usually have a few retorts to keep them on their toes.

Somebody said "the smart one gives up first". You respond back, if he doesn't respond to you too he proves he is smarter. If he or you respond immediately or even later this is going to continue for some time and it may end bad for one or both sides. You become like them when you respond, you don't prove yourself superior. I personally stopped paying attention to my bullies, I have better things to do.

I really wish I had something to say here, but I don't have a personal noteworthy bullying story here, particularly because I was too odd to make bullying me work, but I can say this-

Ignoring the problem only works half the time, the rest of the time, things actually get worse. Each situation is different and calls for different solutions.

THE CREED: Nothing is True. Everything is Permitted.
"...That's rather cynical."

"It would be if it were doctrine, but it is merely an observation of the nature of reality.
To say that Nothing is True is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shephards of our own civilization.
To say that Everything is Permitted is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with the consequences, whether glorious...or tragic."

Karyete: Oooh it's you? Hello. Feel free to drop this right now. You're going to make yourself look like an idiot.

I know... I just wanted to share my experience of threatening someone with a weapon, like nin did...

I'm not proud of that.

I'd suggest not threaten them if you are not mentally and physically ready to show resistance. Plus you can get more problems from threating them with weapons or any other objects that may injury people and in this case it makes you the bad one. Running away is shameful, but it's healthy.

I don't wanna make a huge long post but verbal bullying should NOT be underestimated.

Bullying causes huge rates of teenage suicides every year and that can be physical, sexual, cyber or verbal bullying or any others I missed. From personal experience, verbal bullying was the ultimate worst for me at the time. Words can hurt more than actions a lot of the time.

As much as I am against bullying, for me I found it's most common that the bullies have a lot going on in their lives as it is, and they may use this as a distraction. Believe me I still hate it just as much but it would be a mistake to call all bullies selfish or bad people. As selfish as they act in taking this choice to reduce their own problems, maybe there is a very different story going on inside. In my experience I remember a girl turning into a bully and I noticed her surname had changed- perhaps she was stressed and torn apart from the divorce of her parents. The other girl who mostly ruined my life was suicidal at the time.

Anyway that's my word on the subject. Most people have bullied somebody in their life at least once, whether it was serious or just a passing remark or tease. Even I have once or twice without realising at the time, but I would never do it knowingly.

When you respond to thw bully, you feed the buully. When you walk away you give thwm fuel to call you coward. Tell an adult you can do...but for how line ng?

In all actuality we are all bullies. We get insulted, but how often do we talk bad bout people and friends? I was bullied from fifth to my freshman grade in school. I was verbally picked on, one kid punched me and lied abou how I was harassing him, and I was called ♥♥♥ for half my life. And I hate it.

While TV and media give suggestions, they neglect to notice that maybe bullies are getting tips on other methods. And while we think threatwning and standing up will defend our estewm from harassment, inside we feel the pain.

So my idea? Maybe bullying is just how we grow up. Survival of the fittest with a few perks. Some grow from it, some are aided against the bully with friends, andsome....just werwnt fit.

We all bully. It is human nature. It has gone on for centuries. Alway will. It is a childhood phasewe must gtow out of as we reach adolesence.

No advice will work for every person. We must advise ourselves sometimes or recieve aid from allies. But walking away will never solve anything. All you do is piblcally show you are cowardly fleeing your fears...you need to stnd up and defend yourself. Dnt fight. Dont lash out with words. Never be violent.

Let it pass. Ignore it.
