Anonymous Hate Letter

Thumbs up x1

Postby Newgeneration » August 20th, 2013, 4:33 pm

Yeah, sounds pretty bad, and that's what it is. Recently a woman in Newcastle, Ontario was sent a letter
about her thirteen-year-old grandson, Max, who has autism. This letter
went on to mention how bad the sender of this letter wanted her to get rid of Max in any
way possible, even suggesting her to kill him. This so called "One pissed off mother!!!!", which was what was signed
at the bottom of this letter, had no respect for Max. Calling him a "wild animal kid", commenting on his "noise polluting whaling he constantly makes!!!", etc, etc.
Oh yeah, and she has a tendency to use lots, and LOTS of punctuation. You can guess which one's her favorite.

The Link to the News Article on Yahoo.com: http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/dailybrew/ontario-police-aware-hateful-letter-telling-family-euthanize-171036930.html

This letter has already reached many people already. I bet whoever sent this letter isn't going to be so brave to complain again, with a large portion of people already aware of the goings on out there.

Dear Madam
I try to respect others for their different opinions, and I am even willing to tolerate some annoying ignorance. However, this is the most horrible thing I have ever seen a mother write. How can you, on good conscience, love your own children yet be so horrendous and awful about another's for reasons out of his control? I guarantee you that, being autistic, and knowing several wonderful autistic people, we will go to do far more amazing things to you. I hope your chindren don't catch your bigotry.

In essence, ♥♥♥♥ you.
Sincerely,
One pissed off aspie.

(See that? Proper punctuation. And I'm the retarded one.)

You forgot the comma after "Dear Madam."

In all seriousness though, i saw this on reddit and I don't understand what mother decides to ♥♥♥♥ on another mother. Shouldn't she love her child no matter what? What if her child told her he was gay?

She'd probably disown the poor kid or worse for tainting Earth's genepool.

At least humanity as a whole isn't quite as barbaric as we were, say, 400 years ago. Tolerance clearly has a long way to go, but lets not forget how far we've already come.

That being said, hopefully her kid will be able to use this experience as a how-not-to guide, and go on to demonstrate the correct way to deal with another thinking and feeling human being.

Some parents just don't know how to treat their kids. It's really quite sad that this isn't even the first time I've heard a story like this. I remember where I used to live this boy around 8 years old who was Muslim was being seriously beaten up by a 13 year old on request of his dad just because they disliked the religion.

Well that's no way to treat your neighbours.

Naturally, it's anonymous and typed. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is too cowardly to take credit for their actions or accept a response.

What? Are you expecting me to make a long post about society and discrimination and autism and such?
Not this time.
That mother over there, she is an idiot. First class idiot.
Anyway, this seems to be the cycle of this stuff. Something new appears (or not new, but it does start to grow popular or big), since it is new, people start to hate on it. Then through lots of time it starts to get accepted until it reaches a high level of acceptance. The same will go for everything there is. Homosexuality, religions, skin color, etc. There are sadly going to be always those that take more time to accept the new and keep bashing it.
And about opinions, sure, have all the opinions you want. You can have the head of a person 1000 years ago, and hate on gays, jews and blacks. You can, I don't approve it, but it is your choice and it is your mind after all. But you cannot say everything you believe, sorry, specially on that harsh tone. You can offend people, and that woman was offensive as ♥♥♥♥.
Oh, and anonymous, what a shock. Kaboom said it well: if you are so strong about it, at least you could say who you are. Coward.

This is the kind of stuff that makes me lose faith in people and want to go live on another planet with nicer people (or send all those jerks to another planet :P ).

At least when this kind of thing happens, we can see what's wrong and work to become better. Also, that woman should be regretting what she's done already, after all that's happened.

So who wants to join me in my epic quest to colonize Mars? I bet we can make a quite cool civilization there :3 And if there are martian natives it would be even more fun! Sharing culture and science and whatnot... Before you know it we'll have teleportation xD If that doesn't work I guess we can also colonize the moon. In fact, why haven't we done any efforts on that area? All things considered, it might be a good idea to have people on another celestial body... maybe we can make a big ship that people can live in for a long time, and try to see if the place can be terraformed, or maybe we can build giant domes with air and the right temperature for us to live in, that ccould work really well *gets shot for going way off-topic*
Some day I'll fix my sig.
