To cut the story short, Duck Dynasty is a show about a Lousiana duck hunting family who run a duck call business, making the family itself multimillionaires. The show revolves around how they interact as a family, how they solve the problems they encounter daily, and at the end of every episode, they gather around the table for a family dinner and pray, a Christian tradition.
A&E had no problem whatsoever with the praying or religious faith, and aired it on TV. Their religious beliefs weren't the reason they cut him off the show, though. No, the reason Phil Robertson, founder of Ducks Unlimited, the family business, was suspended from the show was because of an interview for a magazine, where they questioned his beliefs on homosexuality.
This immediately should make sense if you understand the values of devout Christians, who are very strong in their faith. Phil Robertson sees homosexuality has unethical and illogical, and a sin. This shouldn't be a problem, though, since he's a Christian, and you would expect this from a very faithful person like Phil. Nonetheless, A&E, who are LBGT activists, have suspended Phil from appearing on the show.
Was this right of them to do? Or is this an example of America becoming more and more like facism and communistic, silencing those that don't believe what the leaders believe?

I probably could have worded this better...
What I'm trying to say is that if you're going to post saying anything insulting or derogatory, that would be like someone walking up to your sister or mother and calling them a whore, then don't do it out of respect. More or less, just don't faithbash, call each other idiots, damn one another, instigate each other, etc. Religion gets touchy when you dwell on it.
Nonetheless, changed wording to something nicer.
