AMA by Josh Levy and others from Freepress discussing this

I actually don't have much to say about this but felt you guys should know. I really can't stand why people are trying to take away our rights to simply browse the internet. Just ♥♥♥♥ off and leave the internet as it is. It's doing perfectly fine.

Karyete: I don't have anything to say to you, I've been deliberately trying to not offend you for years, actually, but apparently everything I say to you is wrong. You come across as so aggressive that you successfully intimidated me into not wanting to talk to you
Karyete: Seriously, what is your problem? And not only that, you fail to even acknowledge you might be in some wrong here.
Karyete: Oooh it's you? Hello. Feel free to drop this right now. You're going to make yourself look like an idiot.
Karyete: We don't want to hear your opinion at this stage.
Karyete: You're not getting any apology, especially after now.
Karyete: You can stay up on your high horse, continue to twist the truth and act like an absolute child all you want. I refuse to give respect to a man who right now is picking up a dropped argument because he simply cannot fathom the idea that he might be in the wrong.
Karyete: How pathetic

Wow.

It's a shame how people only appeal to the 1% nowadays and not the mass civilian.

I'd much rather get $1 from 6,000,000 people than $6,000,000 from 1 person.
Expect something cool here soon!

I come back from a month of absence and I see this? Ohhh boy, looks like the ♥♥♥♥ already hit the fan...

Haven't we all learned? Greed does everything except make things better, and it'll only get worse now that the ISP's can put their grubby hands all over the internet. I have to admit though, for someone who treks the internet day after day, I can't believe I haven't seen this until now. I just hope that this will be like SOPA/PIPA, and get all sorts of hate, (which I'm sure will happen) inducing a widespread protest and then eventually bring this down. (though the chances of reversing this are pretty slim...)

I'd really love to go on and on about how terribly inconsiderate some huge corporations are, but everyone knows that they're like that.
But really? They just had to go and ruin everything we've ever known about the net. Next thing you know, there'll be a price to pay for just about anything popular on the internet.

All that aside, if this does continue to stay in affect, there's not much else I can say until I've seen this thing at work, which I hope to never see.
