By the looks of things, the petition could well have 100,000 signatures by the 19th. I mean, when I signed there were only like, 8000 signed. And on the 15th people on Tumblr were saying they were at halfway, and look how much it's grown already.
And if the worst happens, and the bill is passed, I don't see it staying around for very long because it's near impossible to track down every single little fanfiction, fanart, tumblr account and copyright link ever made in existence. By the time they've done all that, things would have drastically changed anyway. I mean, the internet's changing all the time.

I checked that page an hour ago and it was on 76,000 or something. By the looks of things, I think we'll be safe.
