There are too many serious, depression-related topics in this forum. It's sad to see so many of you suffering.
So I thought I'd make this topic to spread the gift of kindness and happiness that still exists in this world.
Here is a *hug*, for any of you with mental illness. There is hope in this world, you can recover, just as so many others in your position have done.
Another *hug*, for anyone who is self destructive, believing they suck, that they're worthless, not good enough etc. This is so far from the truth, you are all amazing in your own individual way. Never feel ashamed of yourself because you all have so much potential to make a positive impact on this world. It's people like you that will change society.
A third *hug*, for people who find it hard to deal with the serious topics. I've been in your place before, optimism was my way of survival, I wouldn't let anyone bring me down, to the point that I deliberately got angry at them for being negative. But that didn't mean I didn't have problems, we all have problems, with different ways of sharing them. If you're just sensitive to negativity, then that's okay as well. Don't feel bad for it, we are all different, and that's what's great!
A fourth *hug* for the helpers. The people that never give up and will always be there for you through thick and thin. You guys are what is right with this world. Keep doing what you do, someday we will all learn from you guys.
And a final *hug*, for the sake of randomness. You all deserve a hug, even if none of this applies to you, and you like to keep yourself to yourself. (unless you just hate being hugged) If you hate being hugged and it makes you feel awkward, then CONQUER IT. Jk here's a nice pat on the shoulder to keep you going *pat pat*.
I hope this will cheer some of you up, make you smile, and whatnot. Remember, you're all strong, the hell to whether or not you believe it/want to believe it- I KNOW YOU ARE PEOPLEZ.

It's a shame that Serious Discussion has practically become a competition over who has the worst problems in life, but then again, almost everything that's negative in life can also be defined as serious.
Sometimes you just have to lighten up a bit.
