I'm aware of being a week and a bit late. But damn. That's one amazing piece of carbon I'd like to see for real one day.

Read it yourself though. I'm actually pretty curious what you guys are thinking about this stuff.

I saw something about carbon nanotubes and got a little excited, like hey, maybe this is going to be a good method of making those. And then "he said it would be "very expensive" – the cost of the material is one of the things he was unable to reveal." So uh. Dunno what this could really be used for. I can only see it being useful in military technology (camo), but I would rather steer efforts of innovation away from that field.

But damn, that looks like it's a liquid. Maybe a pool of ink or something. But they crumpled it up supposedly. Wow.

Staring into that material feels like my eyes are being dragged into the screen...wait until it's used for something like hypnosis or illusions lol.

blacker than black 'cause i'm black yo

I wouldn't be surprised if this costed a lot, they must've done a load of compression to get that material to what it is.

Wow, Looks likes ...an abyss, not like any material I've seen before. Impressive.
