Ebola

Postby Bomberman101 » October 10th, 2014, 3:26 am

I'm very sure most of you have heard of the recent Ebola outbreak in West Africa and how it has killed more people this year than any other Ebola outbreak in the past. I'm also very sure you've heard of the US getting its first victims down here in Texas.
I live a block or so away from the victim's hospital, and dangerously close to the old apartments he lived in. There's a ton of panic going on around here, even a little discrimination. To make matters worse, I don't feel well right now. I haven't felt well since Thursday from last week. I'm not saying I have Ebola at all however, but I'm just troubled that my body decided to get very ill at this point in time.
It's not exactly pretty.
So yeah, I just wanted to share that with you guys. I haven't gone to school all week, and im hoping that I will get better by the end of the week.

YOU DO NOT HAVE EBOLA

NOBODY WILL HAVE EBOLA UNLESS THEY TOUCH A SURFACE INFECTED WITH EBOLA OR COME INTO CONTACT WITH FLUIDS FROM AN EBOLA-INFECTED PERSON

EBOLA IS NOT AIRBORNE

I didn't say I have Ebola, I just said I was sick, im very well aware it's not airborne. They repeatedly say that every single day here in Dallas, but whatever.

I think the biggest thing here is to not panic.

The death count is so drastic because of the poor health conditions in the countries most affected. Ebola can't survive out of a host very long. It can only be spread from body fluids and other medical waste. As long as we handle this well, we should all be fine.

Remember, no make out sessions while the panic is still going, alright?

Oops, people have already said the above. Uh, k.

Karyete: Seriously, what is your problem? And not only that, you fail to even acknowledge you might be in some wrong here.
Karyete: Oooh it's you? Hello. Feel free to drop this right now. You're going to make yourself look like an idiot.

We do have the technology to prevent it from being anything serious, but when certain important people don't follow the protocol...

Heard about some troubles over there.

Tbh. I'm not quite getting the current situation. I mean. Many do panic about it and it's definitely something one should take serious before it's getting out of hand. (Well. Maybe we're at that point already.) Yet they're doing only so little about it, to prevent further spreading.

At first they acted like: "Alright. It may get a bit troublesome if ♥♥♥♥ happens. But anything is under control."

Then they were like. "Uh. It will never reach other countries."

A few days passed... (And we know what happened from there.)

And now they're like. "Hm. We screwed up a bit, but it will certainly not spread any further as we prevented this from happening."
Suddenly a nurse got infected who did happened to sit in some plane and might have infected some more people, who're probably wether aware of this, nor do I expect any of them to get found soon enough. (Coincidences are weird. Aren't they?)

From this point we kind of lost track of the spreading and even now they're not planning to take further actions as they are trying to concentrate on africa's airports for now. Meanwhile there are certainly more innocent people dying from that and I'll honestly say that there are people to blame for their death.
And I do expect this to get much worse than it would have needed to be.
