I just want to stay to myself, do what I love and want, and not have to worry about people or anxiety. Is that possible? Can I do that? Why is this so hard? Why is it the few types of medication that can assist have to be illegal or limited to specific illnesses? Why is this understudied?

Why the hell do I even have this?

I relate to this so much whenever I'm sick and my Dad just tells me to stop being a pussy.

Don't have much to share in general, but today I woke up because of some meowing I heard outside, and it was pretty loud.

Probably I mentioned before that I live near a pretty dead train station and right next to a depot, so a lot of people just come here and throw their pets. The meowing was pretty loud and I went to check. She was in a bush near the depot, pretty scared took a while to get her out. I managed to get her eat milk by her own (probably she was still sucking when former owners took her away).

I made a small video of her.

soooo sweeeeeet

and so extremely saddening how people could do this

My dog was found in a wild forest as a puppy and nobody knew where she came from; theoretically she could have been escaped but her scariness rather implies very bad treatment and finally being set out

That reminds me of the story of how we got one our cats (who is gone now, unfortunately).

Driving down the freeway. Some asshat throws a mother cat and like six kittens out of a pickup truck onto the side of the road. While driving. All of them freak out and run off into the woods except for one of the kittens, who seemed like he was paralyzed or something from the shock. We picked him up and took him in, and while it seemed like he had some emotional and sensory issues after that, he turned out to be the sweetest, friendliest, and happiest (not to mention the biggest, holy ♥♥♥♥ he grew to like eight times his size as a kitten, nearly the size of a ♥♥♥♥ full-grown bobcat) cat I've ever known. He got along with the two cats we already had and was always really playful and cuddly around people. Whenever anyone came home, he would run to the door to greet them. Not much interest in going outside, just in being around others. Everyone loved him, and I'm pretty sure he loved everyone back. We had him for...four or five years, I think? and were all really sad to have to give him up, but such is [apartment] life.

Yesterday I had a conversation with an old friend on the train for five minutes. And damn. Do you ever have those moments where you realize you are having a conversation with a truly beautiful human being? Cause I left with butterflies and just a deep sense of love of life.

I would not suggest giving milk to a cat (many are minorly/majorly lactose intolerant) because they are extremely high in calories and not as easy to digest compared to milk from a mother cat. Unless you somehow got the milk of a cat instead.
Aside from that you saved (?) one animal from death by the streets. 10/10

Ugh no it was cow milk, but couldn't find anything more appropiate for she in my fridge (well I do have some raw meat, but don't know if she can chew it right now). My parents usually don't like keeping pets around, except if it's the time to get a new "guard dog" for the yard (but wasn't the case for over 10 years), but they seemed to like the kitty. I'm going to buy some shampoo tomorrow (she is full of fleas) and probably buy her some cat food. She doesn't seem to have an instinct to eat by her own yet and is relatively small, so food can be a problem. Aside from that she doesn't seem to have any problem, she's pretty active and would climb any piece of wood or stairs she encounters.

@OJ unfortunatelly it's not the only case. As I said, I don't live in a really accessible place and the street is pretty dead and every now and then I cannot help but notice the stray dog population increase (people bringing their unwanted pets and many of them also reproducing). Teoretically the pets are dropped in a relatively safe area (if they drop in the actual street), because not many cars are around and some locals may just adopt them, however that's not the case for many. People usually ignore them if they are not hostile and they are free to go around, but many also go in the train yard and after that, well you can guess.

We used to give our kittens condensed/evaporated milk, instead of milk straight from an animal.

She looks about 5 weeks, though, and at 4 their eyes open. 5 they start to ween. Just do it like you were raising a kid.

Also my doctor put me on Xoloft and holy ♥♥♥♥ that difference.

No. That's just as bad. Go to a vet/pet store (if it's a chain pet store, be careful and check labels.) and buy milk made specifically for kittens.
If you can't afford it, tough. Animals are not cheap.
